Mental & Emotional Causation

Liver disease is considered to be related to the concentration of anger and negative emotions, leading the individual to constant complaining, low self esteem and justifying of one’s own fastidiousness.

Physical Nature of Liver Complaints

Liver disease is found to be acute and chronic. The disorders of the gastrointestinal tract in many cases cause disturbances in the liver; it is therefore important to treat the main derangement as well, in order to cure the liver.

Acute inflammation of the liver may arise from high mode of living, extensive exposure to hot damp weather and to sun rays; from violent mental emotions, misuse of stimulating or alcoholic drinks, suddenly suppressed evacuations, strong emetics or purgatives, gall-stones, or brain injury.

This state, unless cured properly, soon assumes chronic form. The chronic liver affection reflects on the functionality of vital organs like the lungs, blood vessels and intestines; it causes hemorrhoids, diarrhea, erysipelas on the skin, nose bleeding, abscesses, indurations or adhesions in the liver.

The hepatitis is a viral disease caused mainly by food or water contamination. It is serious affection which leaves the immune system weakened and affects the functioning of the entire organism.

The allopathic treatment is the least favorable in cases of hepatitis, while the homeopathic remedies have a deep action. Many laboratory experiments and clinical studies have proven that homeopathy heals hepatitis and prevents the development of a chronic state and its severe consequences.

Liver Symptoms of Mag-m

The complaints are of complex character: morning fatigue, abdomen distension, stubborn constipation with hard faeces like knots; or constipation alternating with diarrhea. The stool may be yellowish-white and the urine – dark.

Patients have bitter taste in the mouth and thick yellowish coating on the tongue. The tongue is large, relaxed, with teeth prints on the edges. The sclera of the eyes is yellow; the skin also has yellow shade.

The most desired food are the sweets; the most desire drink is the alcohol. Patients have aversion to beet though it is the best food for purifying the liver. They feel much worse after eating, particularly after milk or fat.

There is pain in the liver area, which aggravates from lying on the right side. Often the liver complaints are accompanied by pains in the joints.

Usually, next to the liver disease, people suffer from depression.

Symptoms of Mag-m in Children

When children are sick from hepatitis, Mag-m is the first homeopathic remedy to be considered, especially if quarrels run in the family. Mostly this disease hits puny children, predisposed to or suffering from rickets.

Mag-m is apt to children with atrophy of tissues and organs accompanied by emaciation or rickets; children sick from tuberculosis of lymphatic glands; or having ozena with burning discharge, obstruction of nose at night and crusts formations in nostrils. Children who suffer from distended abdomen and much flatulence, obstinate constipation with large, dry, hard, crumbly faeces.

The liver is swollen and hard, so are the lymphatic glands on the neck. All symptoms are accompanied by perspiration on the head and feet.

Ingigestion of Milk in Infants

Mag-m cures the inability to digest milk leading to pains in the stomach and consequently an evacuation of indigested consistence from the bowels. The remedy is clearly manifested when this symptom appears in feeble infants, predisposed to rickets, who are craving for sweets.
