Sulphur is again chronic remedy, and in acute conditions is rarely prescribed at the beginning. There are however cases where Sulphur is indicated as initial acute remedy.

The nose is inflamed, with swollen wings, with shining red tip; very frequent sneezing in the evening and morning and blowing from the nose of mucus mixed with blood. The sneezing comes in fits after rising from bed in rapid and severe succession. There is sensation as if cold is coming even before it’s appeared.

Sulphur is often indicated as concluding remedy in acute conditions, especially in children cases. It is given after the acute remedy, where there are some symptoms left which were not influenced in the course of cure. The acute remedies of Sulphur are Aconitum, Bryonia; it follows well after Pulsatilla, Lycopodium, Sepia.
